EYRO

How it works

Hold the shortcut. Speak. Keep working in the same app.

EYRO is a private productivity layer, not a meeting recorder, surveillance tool, or cloud account disguised as an offline app.

Across your apps

One interaction across the apps you already use

Place cursor → hold Ctrl + Win → speak → text appears. Same pattern everywhere.

Active field in Microsoft Teams

“Following up on yesterday’s discussion: here’s the revised recommendation and next steps for the client review.”

Inserted locally, ready to edit

Sequence

From shortcut to inserted text

Four steps that stay on your machine for normal dictation.

  1. Step 01

    Place the cursor

Put focus wherever you already write: email, Teams, documents, WhatsApp Web, ClickUp, or a browser editor.

  2. Step 02

Hold Ctrl + Win and speak

An on-screen status shows that EYRO is listening. Hands-free mode is available as a secondary path.

  3. Step 03

    Release to transcribe and insert

Whisper processes speech on your Windows PC, then inserts the transcript into the active text field.

Modes & controls

How you speak, and where text goes

Hold-to-talk

Press and hold Ctrl + Win, speak, then release. An on-screen status shows listening state, waveform, and progress without pulling you into another window.

Hands-free mode

Prefer a toggle? Hands-free is a secondary path with the same local transcription and insertion behavior. Customize shortcuts after your first successful dictation.

Local history

Review recent transcripts on your machine, copy or delete entries, and keep storage behavior understandable, not hidden in a remote account.

Insertion + fallback

Text returns to the active field when possible. Clipboard fallback covers edge cases; compatibility notes stay visible rather than claiming universal perfection.

Write at speaking speed without giving up control.

Download EYRO for Windows and test it in one workflow you already do, not in a staged demo.
